I want to buy professional duduk and to learn to play - I'm totall beginner, so forgive me these basic questions:
At your web site I can see that you sell at least 8 types of professional duduk, starting with G, A, B, H, C, D, E, F... Do these letters mean the tone (octave) of the given type of duduk?
I like lower and deeper tones-sounds of the duduk... and would like to buy such one. Or maybe I'm mistaken and the sound-tone of the duduk depends on the particular type of reed I put on?

duduk in A - all fingers of will sound in A 6 fingers dawn will sound in A
please see the fingering chart it will help you

we always recommend to start w/ duduk in key of A
but if you wish you can start w/ G duduk for it's nice deep sound

I've seen several duduks in G, A of course, B (H) and D, but very few in C or C#... is there a particular reason for this?

most intermediate duduk players use A & B might even have D Piccolo
unless the person is Professional in a band or a recording artist also - he most likely will use many others in wich case you need most everything you can find or make or have a master make you one

if you need a specific key of duduk then get more but if your A or g duduk are enough then just use A or G - no need to get the others
