fiberglass for musical instruments ??

i have seen some use a Fiberglass Doumbek Drum long time ago - it was nice, sound quality was excellent, but 2 weeks a go in recording studio one of the musicians was using a cello that was made of Carbon-Fiber like the one @ this link http://www.luisandclark.com , he was calming that it sounds much nicer then traditional cello made out of wood, it was nice i haven't seen many cellos nor i have ever used them but the sound was nice, did some research smile.gif GoooGllle and found > and was really astonished at not only the powerful and clear sound of the instrument, but particularly by the fine quality of the sound.< smile.gif so it start thinking what if we make a fiberglass or Carbon-Fiber String instrument such as Tar or Qyamancha, i'm no specialist on fiberglass, have only used it to make & reaper RC boat's

has any of you used fiberglass ?? any suggestions ?? opinions ??
