I'd like to say hello to all members, players, teachers and admins on this forum. My name is Ondřej (Andrew), 17 years old and I'm amateur composer. When I firstly heard the sound of Duduk, it was just some instrument like others. However 2 months later I found a song called Worlds Apart with opening Duduk theme. Then I started to imagine this wonderful unique sound to every orchestral piece. I changed my mind forever and I bought one from ebay. I read all what I can about playing and how hard it might be. When it arrives, I used The Secret every day to learn and understand the instrument. I had some experience with woodwind instruments, so it was easier for me. I'm now playing 2 weeks and experimenting with tremolo and vibrato.
I must say, I'm composing 3 years now and I have never heard such sound before. This sound can explain every feeling of the song, can easily change mood. It is the sound of history, the song has a soul when Duduk is there. This post has been edited by Ondřej: Apr 17 2010, 06:19 PM |

OK, here is my favourite solo piano song "Spread the World". I compress it to FLAC for maximum quality preservation.
My only problem is with remembering some idea. That's why I don't have so much recordings. |
