I acquired an A duduk from an Armenian church rummage sale. The reed that came with it was very stiff and cracked, hard to play, so I bought a soft reed from duduk.com, and now it's surprisingly easy to play, but I'm not sure about the tuning. Three of the notes are very difficult to pull to the pitch that the website says they should be. When I adjust the bridle so that the A's are right on, the F#'s, D, E and upper G are right on also, but the B is about half flat and the C is about half sharp, and the lower G is also about half# instead of full # as the website indicates. Is this just a cheap toursit duduk, or is it tuned to some other scale?
