I know many duduk-players keep reeds they use daily in a almost air-proof, little box (some even keep them overnight in a closed box) - but what's the best way to store reeds that aren't going to be used for some weeks/months?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard

wan storing for long or short time - make sure it is not in a air-proof container - unless you wish to make penicillin of some sort or mould and mildew / store it away form sun and no heat sours is present ( close to hitting element or fireplace / no source of moisture is present / make sure ... Apricot jan just place it in a box that has holes on it and store it in drawer / always remove the reed form duduk, if children or pets are present hid them smile.gif kids and pets are reed's #1 "friends"
