To anyone considering investing in a pro duduk reed,
I suggest you get it from duduk.com. Why?
It will transform your playing to pure musical ectasy!
(After 8 days of frustration and disappointing agony
with the Andranik Simonian reeds...)
This reed looks and sounds wonderful- right off the bubble wrap!
I was able to get all the notes-mostly in tune
and with beautiful intonation in my A duduk,
and I was even able to get full expressive musical
phrases, without experiencing hardly any embouchure
fatigue. The phrasing of bars, either staccato or legato,
seemed more fluid, natural, more responsive
with less need for "air pressure" resistance/support.
I was able to maintain the tone through the piano
to forte dynamics- it was a breakthrough to hear
this Armenian duduk sing forth with such beauty!
(At least for 3 to 4 minutes, he-he.)
I will definitely get all of my reeds and duduks from
Moses from now on, and I am 47, God willing of course!
There are many many other holidays, like Father's Day
and Christmas (but I will have to wait for Christmas,
since I am still in the "dog house" for "wasting $200
on souvenirs on ebay"- my wife).
I am very happy with this reed! I just hit the lottery
of double reeds! Thank you again Moses!

El Catalan,
Over the past 6 years I have bought 6 duduks (2 RR and 4 OMO) 3 OMO Bluls 2 OMO zurnas an RR shvi and plenty of reeds and they are all excellent instruments smile.gif I was at a party one time jamming with guitars and everyone had to tune their instruments to my duduk because the duduk was the only instrument in tune!!! smile.gif

I would highly recommend any product that Moses sells smile.gif They are truly wonderful.
And don't worry about getting ripped off on e-bay I payed $130 for my first duduk off of e-bay and it turned out to be a $2 piece of junk. I only held on to it to show people the difference between a cheap souvenir and the real instruments from duduk.com.

Cheers tongue.gif

Well, if this reed can "transform" my current duduk like that: improved tone quality-
more warm, more resonant, then, can you even imagine how this reed will sound like
with a pro duduk from duduk.com? Ummm...I can not wait until Christmas!
