Hi everyone. I want to experiment some techniques of making reeds without leather strip. As I know leather strips are used to cover the cracks on the reed's body. I am searching some making technique that the reed is not cracked during making (steaming, torch burning, etc.).if anyone can make such reeds, I am ready to cooperate with him!
Thanks in advance. |

Hello Vardges
60~70% of the time you don't need a leather strip on a new reed, but customers like to have them on to prevent the reeds from cracking if you ever need a reed without leather strip let me know... MOses Duduk.com -------------------- ...: † :...Powered by Apricot Juice ...: † :...
