The Duduk Quintet which brought you Winds of Passion reprises its performance with a whole new world of music. This time, the famous patriotic songs from the turn-of-the-century have became instrumental mood setters. Beginning with a trumpet playing Inchou E Aghmeghoum Geduh – the theme song of the Karabakh Movement, to the Armenian National Anthem, six duduks, one shvi and one dhol render old traditional pieces into accessible tunes without extraneous orchestration

The Duduk Quintet of the Armenian Woodwind Instrument Ensemble is unique in its kind. Its members all hail from state-sponsored orchestras or acclaimed ensembles of popular music in Armenia; as expatriates, they have come together locally in Los Angeles to keep the duduk tradition alive in the Diaspora as well.
